2021 Review and 2022 Wish List
2021 brings in a few milestones. First of all, it marks my second complete year of making puzzles. Secondly, I hit the 500 puzzle mark (I also hit the 600 puzzle mark, but that's less exciting news). I have expanded publication (or am in the process of doing so) to the Tak Talk discord community. I published my first April fool's puzzle. (Note that it really was a truly solvable puzzle - just not for Tak). I hope to keep that tradition alive. If you have any suggestions for Abstracts to feature, let me know.
2021 Review
As with last year, I've continued to tag each puzzle with the size (6x6, 5x5), difficulty (Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard), and starting player (white, black). Last year I just listed the raw numbers. This year, I decided to make things a bit more digestible and see interesting comparisons to last year, by creating charts of all the info. Each of these charts shows the exact same data, but with different focuses.
2022 Wish List
By now I've published just over 600 puzzles. In the coming year, I hope to reach around 900 - just shy of 1000. I've been really pleased with the growth in the community this year and I hope to see more of it in the coming year. I hope to see more content created - in all sorts of forms.
Throughout all of this, the core of the Tak community is each and every person. I want to thank all of my readers, especially my Patrons, and wish you all a Happy New Year.
